Yeah, that money is pretty much wasted on the gamer willing to spend $400 - we know about the X1 already.
Using money for price cuts is a much better way of swaying the hardcore audience. If you estimate that about 30 million gamers are willing to spend $400 on a console, Sony is set to have half of them by the year's end. That's a real problem for MS. Early momentum is always crucial.
The price cut helps with their real problem - their current image ...
Naughty Dog ...Who else?
If cats have 9 lives, does that mean you have 9 birthdays per year? (Please say yes)
Lol. Anyways, Happy Birthday. Have a good one
Good month for me! I wanted Velocity and always wanted to try Joe danger.
Playstation plus is kinda like gambling. You just gotta put down $50 bucks and you have 12 chances to see if the roulette pulls up something you always wanted but never bought. You chances of being happy increase if you have more than one sony device ie. PS3, PSV, PS4.
Honestly bad months dont bother me because it only takes 1 good one to make up for the $50. Like when i subscribed and...
Aww man, i wasnt really feeling much excitement for this game from the screenshots but reading how the scenarios actually play out sounds really cool. Sounds like its really tense and needs a lot of thought and snap judgements. I like stuff like that.
I like his approach of wanting to do things with games that other mediums cant do. To many times games try to mimic movies and come off being the lesser of both mediums.
I like the concept but i wish the graphics werent so basic tho. Needs a little more spice. Hopefully it improves for the final product.
Man the winner of this mega bundle is gonna get a LOT of games
Wish they had something to show but with the talent they have at their studio im sure it will be worth the wait. Ill keep my eye out for their studio name in the future.
Wow, some great talent behind this studio. Hope they arent trying to do too much at once with 3 projects on multiple platforms tho.
Man, an indie dev working on VR, thats brave.
Being in the games industry must really be a tough place. I can only imagine how many people went into it hoping to create and tell stories of their own only to spend their entire career helping other people tell their stories by doing fraction of a tiny piece of work that the player probably wont even notice.
Its great that the new indie boom can help so many aspiring devs to tell their stories even if it may be in a smaller scale.
Also really exciting to be...
Always interesting to hear developers views on the consoles on the market that are frank and to the point and not just tip toeing around the issues so as to not hurt any business relationships that they may want in the future. I appreciate that.
Cool that he's making a game on unity. Ive tinkered around with that a few times. Wanna see what he managed to make with it.
The description of this game sounds crazy over the top. Bending time and and breaking worlds! I just hope the gameplay translates those concepts well.
Bifrost is a cool name for a company :)
A Tim Schafer adventure game is just full of so much win. Glad to see he still got his edge for that sort of thing and that it doesnt feel dated. Cant wait to see how the parallel story pans out.
Entry for: Broken Age
they're definitely not extinct, but they are definitely a shadow of their former selves, which is what the blog is really aout.
