Its sad that i had to scroll so far down to find someone who made sense.
The quality of the game is not what made it sell poorly, its the new user base that nintendo has now is just not interested. You could argue that mario galaxy was hardocre and still sold well but mario is a much bigger name than metriod.
The people who wanted this game got tired of waiting and left a long time ago and if you want them back it gonna take a lot more games to convince them....

Noooo this may mean the rumours of the Hitman reboot and not sequel may be true.
The only thing i wouldnt mind them doing to Hitman would be restarting the story because it really wasnt going anywhere. But change the look of 47 or gameplay and be doomed to FAIL!!

Yes they are. Unless the game is japanese i usually need to start off on the highest difficulty just to get a challenge.
Normal difficulty as gotten easier but once there is always a hard mode the experienced shouldnt have much to complain about.
Hand holding is another matter though. A couple of games i played were really hurt by this. That needs to be looked at. I like figuring things out oon my own like old school soul reaver days.
That the problem that i have with fable games.
It always feels like a bunch of underdeveloped concepts strung together with a very basic gamplay to back it up.
In the end no part of it is developed enough to make it interesting.
Once you try some of the distractions and get bored of them, youre left with a pretty empty game.
Still keeping an eye on it tho.

The fact that they say they are thinking HOW to bring these games back for the "modern day audience" already shows they are going in the wrong direction.

I agree, EA made took some risks this gen and made some really cool stuff. Like Mirrors Edge, Dead Space, Dante's Inferno, Brutal Legend... and some other stuff.
The name change isnt that big of a deal from a gamplay or story perspective. The content of the game is the same.
From a free speech/cencorship point of view it may be a different story.
But overall me and EA are still good.
Looks cool but i would still say GRID has the crown for best damage.
Ive heard Need for speed pro street had great damage as well but i have never seen it first hand.

John's story is over, prequel would be cool but we know how it ends already.

Like from last gen to this one, FPS became more popular so sony was able to churn them out from first party without displeasing fans.
But i cant help but wonder what it would be like if sony kept a "mascot" franchise around.
Gran turismo is their mascot franchise if anything.
