And I hope I am still playing with games consoles when I am 70! Some people have this stereotypical image of what people should be interested in at 'their age' .... and they really just don't have a clue how much FUN can be had from things that they seem to think are too childish for them!
Maybe its time for these fuddy-duddy's to stop spouting rubbish and give gaming a try ... they might just find they are having...

I think its essential to have a good reporting system in place and I really do hope that Sony get their act together on this and develop a reporting system that is effective and user friendly.
I have had sexist comments made at me, and have even been booted off a hosted game just cos I am a woman ... and I have to say it doesn't really bother me, I can just laugh at their stupidity and find another game.
But we are not all the same, and some people ...

I think that something a lot of people might be forgetting is who actually buys these consoles. Yeah, sure there are your true gamers who 'should' know a bit about what they are looking for and be able to spot a bargain that is not a bargain.
But there are also your average parents, who don't game themselves, who have heard Little Johnny say he was at his mates house and playe...

Its gonna be a good year for games this year!
I will defo be getting Resistance2 ... played Resistance1 and loved every second of it ... so can't wait for number 2
Have never played KillZone1, so not sure about this game. It looks pretty good but my gripe would be that it looks really dark. I know that this sets the mood but its like films, I really hate dark ones where you can hardly see what is going on lol

No problem at all ... I tend to get most of mine from ebay.
If you browse on there, you can normally get games a week or two before they are actually released here in the UK, and you can get them at normally about £10 less than the shop prices ... and that is including the postage and packing costs. I have managed to get one or two even cheaper than that .... but you have to be prepared to browse and take your time to spot the bargains.

You know what the sad fact about all this is ..... that I have become complacent about having to pay out more for my gaming in the UK than other countries do.
Yeah ok, every so often I have a moan about it, but then it just goes to the back of my mind and I carry on as normal

Yes, you are most probably right there in that its the developers who are doing it rather than Nintendo (I'm not very up on these things lol) but surely Nintendo would have to have given the go-ahead for this game to be developed for the Wii?
The point I am making (and probably not making it very well lol) is that there are a lot of games out and coming out, which offer the very best in graphics etc .. and MY PERSONAL experience of the Wii is that the grap...

I agree with what so many have already said ... the greatest consoles will depend on what you have played and what your memories of those consoles are ....
N64 holds some great memories for me, but I wouldn't say it was the best console ever
PS2 might be the best one ... the games library is huge and its been going strong for so many years ... wow, I got my money's worth from buying that console lol

But no, instead of tackling real problems, they will stop people from downloading a couple of songs a month!
