They took his family and they held them ransom. He repeatedly said if there were another way he would have tried it. Yes, all GTA's mock society but this was not GTA. There was not nearly as much satire in this game. Maybe in Marston's past he would have killed everyone who ever said a cross word to him. The word Redemption in the title should clue you into his mindset. He was trying to go legit. He swallowed his pride for his family.
I can see from your post that the story(or lack of one as you said)went completely over your head. Listening to the dialogue in some of the cutscenes shows how much Rockstar believes in character development and backstory. Many parallels can be drawn between John Marston's 1911 setting and our own political turmoil of today. One other difference of opinion I have with you is the comment about Marston being a fool and dying because of it. In the context of that final scene did he have ...
Uh, Pointing out obvious typo's makes you sound stupid too. If the shoe fits, where it.
Judging by Rockstar's sales I'd say you are in the minority.
@Kaveti
I've been playing it for two days now and boy are you wrong.
I've already got it and no you won't be disappointed.
@Thanatos
That's a shame because that is probably one of the worst westerns ever made.
Are you really that daft? Of course Nintendo has a longer history. I side with cobra on this one. Look at Nintendo's past and the games they have brought to the world. Zelda, Mario, Duck Hunt etc... What cobra is saying is look at the games they publish now. Jenny Mccarthy's Shape Up, Pizza Delivery Boy, Build a Bear: Friendship Valley. Should I go on? Obviously Nintendo still has a big hand in games but look at the product they are putting out there. It's shovelware nothing more and...
Your comment is fail.
Keep the f@#king Splinter Cell game. I have the definitive stealth game and it's called Metal Gear Solid 4.
Not if it's anything like the Yakuza 3 available in America. It sucks. I learned that it was stripped down for the American release because we wouldn't understand it.
When you say good boss fights do you mean the last boss in AA? If you are calling that a good boss fight you are truly retarded. After playing a thoroughly enjoyable Batman experience the game ends with probably the lamest final boss encounter this side of Fable 2(yeah I went there.)
It's also skippable.
I definitely agree with Resistance. That game should get trophies for being the first in now what has become a long list of great games. Metal Gear is obvious.
Veronica, would you like to got to the pants party?
@Iflowlikewater
I think you should change your name to iflowlikebullsh@t.
We all have choices Jason. You could choose to not watch the video if you want, much like I have the choice to berate and belittle you in a forum. Don't like him? Don't watch him. Simple.
How many solid games do you have out this gen Soda? Molyneux has a solid stool sample called Fable 2.
Who cares?
The greatest games ever list is a long one. You'd do well to remember that.
