That’s an impressive list. I think if they show well at the first party event and are competitive price wise the casual gamer will definitely take notice and flock to the eco system. Especially if they offer a capable system for 299 in the much rumored series s. People are drawn in by price and they stay because of things on the fantastic list of yours

I don’t have a clue? So more than double the FPS higher settings and real ray tracing aren’t big differences? I don’t think you want to realize how big the performance delta is and even when you start to see facts you will just make up excuses. The ps5 reveal was great but I saw a bunch of 30 FPS games. The Xbox event in April was full of 4k 60 FPS with ray tracing even a few 120 FPS games. Any of those on the ps5 yet?
Yeah that 120 FPS is what I’m talking about. Ps5 showing off cartoons running at 30 FPS with fake ray tracing. The power difference is obvious now and the fastest ssd on earth can’t stop the graphical pummeling the ps5 will take each time a third party game releases
You need to take the blinders off. Yeah the last of us 2 looks nice but I could name you ten 1x games that look better. The last of us 2 had a ton of little things that just stick out like a sore thumb and it really takes away from immersion. Maybe it’s me or the lady of us 2 running at lower settings at a lower resolution but I’m far from blown away by it. Maybe the ps5 will run it properly
I’m trying not to let the certain event stop me from enjoying the game. So far so good but I think the die hard peeps that enjoy a certain character need to give the game a go. It might surprise ya

I don’t think it’s the best looking game of all time but no doubting looks really good. But there is all kinds of things in the game that look awful. Everything in the distance looks super low res like ps3 level. I notice vines and plants here and there that look like they were just thrown on without any thought and look super fake. It’s a nice looking game but that last layer of polish and touch to make it the best is just not there
It is great to be able to take your gamed with you into next gen. Not only that but they will look and play better. Absolutely great feature
I am about half way though the game. Production value wise the game is top notch. Beautiful animations gorgeous environments graphically the fame looks nice. I would hope this game gets a full ps5 enhancement because I get the feeling that even the pro is running a very scaled back version. The vistas in the background stick out bad because they look so low res or just not up to par with everything else. Anyone thinking like this is blinded by the dark side (fanboyism). Modern games scale from smartphones to high end PCs what makes you think a few games being cross gen is a huge advantage. Xbox said they would support the old hardware for a year or two it’s not that big of a deal because most of the games that will be released will have started development with the base x1 in mind and after a year they can start picking and choosing what games to release cross gen. You are assuming they won’t have exclusives. Let’s not forget Xbox invested 18 billion dollars in games two years ago and have aggressively hired top tier talent throughout all their studios including several from Sony’s top developers. In a few weeks we will see the games I have no doubt.
