thats because they are equal, if they weren't there would be million troll articles on here about say the Ps3 can't run crysis and crap like that (not hating on ps3, but this is n4g afterall and we know that those articles get approved)

well it more of the eye of the beholder to some it is very good art, and to other maybe it isn't, its based more on opinion
basicly i think they are refer to the disc as a fixed data, where it can only read info so fast, but a hard drive can run at a faster speed and can stream in higher resolution textures without the delay that a disc would cause

agreed if nintendo is going to remove gamecube compatiblity then they should lower the price
i think its got to do with ego mostly, somebody enjoys the game, so someone naturally has to hate it, same with most video games
Yea but i'm one to want the physical copy of games, plus i always have luck finding these games, since i live in a bigger city, at pawn shops and family owned gameshops for way cheap
I would buy older games on psn if they used an emulator that upscaled the resolution and added an anti aliasing solution, otherwise i would rather find cheap copies for my ps2.
Saving money for other games already have my november/december planned out game wise

but you have to consider that the light effect back then were extremely primitive then, thus required less processing
1080p 60fps- little damaging, very little track detail compared to the cars
720p 60p- huge ammount of car damage, huge race track detail and a very in depth lighting simulation
Each game has its graphical payoffs and its weaknesses
While it would have been nice, its understandable given the hardware and the number of processes going on at a given time
Edit: Let also no forget gt5 was in development for 5 times, while FM4 was in development for about half that
they both do look pretty good, they just appealing in a different way
