HA!!! Called it.
"It causes problems with the GwG library if suddenly future titles are released on both services simultaneously OR have been removed from the GwG future line-up, just to ensure gouging.
Another problem is potentially requiring gold for online play, thus ensuring further gouging.
These kinds of options from publishers should only work if no such strings are attached. We should pay heed..."
This guy gets it. It causes problems with the GwG library if suddenly future titles are released on both services simultaneously OR have been removed from the GwG future line-up, just to ensure gouging.
Another problem is potentially requiring gold for online play, thus ensuring further gouging.
These kinds of options from publishers should only work if no such strings are attached. We should pay heed...
SoR FOREVER!!!!!
BWAHAHAAAAA!!!
Seriously, tirading over others' "whining" makes you unstable, especially when they have just as much right to complain about this as you do at them. Take your own advice...
Actually it is more powerful in some ways, but the 2005 varient obviously isn't as up to date in tech procedures as more modern CPU's like Jaguar by a large margin, thus giving the two Jaguars some out-the-door advantages just like all modern CPU's.
*off topic*
Speaking of rendering 12 cars, but has DriveClub shown any footage of cars on track beyond 12?...
@OldDude
"Project Cars sis 1080p/60 on everything, including WiiU. And no, 30fps is inexcusable for a racing game."
It's 720p/30 on Wii U.

BTW, to those that go for performance over quality: such situations haven't gone so smoothly in the past. Take Battle Arena Toshinden 3 for PS1 for example, which had such an option...
BAT3 at 30fps.

BAT3 at 60fps.

We're not denying that the shadows are already better than PS3, but the leap from quarter resolution shadows on PS3 (640x360) to just double that resolution on PS4 to achieve 60fps is rather... compared to other PS4 games? Not as big as expected...
Here's what I mean...

Why did you say that?
"Texture maps are 4x more detailed. Shadow maps 2x."

Remember the Citi hack a month later by a different group that actually made out with $2.7 Million from peoples' accounts? NO ONE BATS AN EYE!!!
When you have to practically scream at a company to get the fearures you want...
I'll still support Sony--don't get me wrong--but I'm sticking to PS3 and waiting for PSTV instead. Both have a bigger back-catalogue that I have to catch up on anyway...
Entwined on PS3/Vita now? GLORIOUS!!!
Shadow of Rome needs to be on PS2 Classics.
Question: Are the new upcoming DLC supported in the season pass, or is it too late?
@Tsar4ever
Awesome gesture, thanks.
"Running at an internal resolution of 1024x624"
Oh I'm good...
"Considering it's Bungie's only time one PS3 and their previous 360 work, I wouldn't be surprised if the PS3 version was as low as 1024x576."

This is incorrect. The X1's GPU is a gimped 7790, downclocked with 2 of it's 14 CU's dead; while the PS4's GPU is a gimped 7870, downclocked with 2 of it's 20 CU's dead.
Furthermore despite rumors of 14 CU's for normal fuction plus 4 for specialized GPU compute, it's actually 15 + 3...

"Xbox One (Bonaire)
Rated Floating Point 1.31 TFLOPs"
Fixed.
That makes no sense, you're not going going to have more first party titles because of less third party titles, you're now going to have less variety on one service just so you pay extra for the other.
