Edit: 4GB gets dogged on for restring features for certain games (I.e. Halo multiplayer, BF3 HD installs, original XBOX backwards compatibility, etc.), a 16GB PS3 only has problems with games that have mandatory installs, which explains not only why it wasn't done long ago, but why it'll be a gamble NOW!

Wii U IS more powerful, but like the Wii, insignificantly so. The problem is that the Wii U Game Pad is holding it back, relying on the consoles resources to produce what's on that screen. Another factor is Nintendo's own statements on using new tech but cutting back on the power to keep costs low, now to mention pricing the console for profit.

Too many devs have been wrongly fired over metacritic scores, this system is a broken conundrum, aggregate scoring sabotaged by bias and trechery. There is NO fixing it now, it's too late, the damage already done.
