...my brain is fried, is this article sarcasm? It just seems a bit all over the place...
Xenon essentially achieves 1.6GHz at core FSB, down to brass tacks, basic threading performance (it's also the speed of it's cache RAM). When multithreaded, it's read at 3.2GHz.
"The Wii U's CPU clock speed number is indeed lower than the Xbox 360's 3.2GHz clock (although the 360's gets halved to a functional 1.6GHz when multithreading) or the PS3's 4GHz clock."
*facepalm*
Xenon gets 1.6GHz WITHOUT multithreading and Cell is 3.2GHz...
I'm not gonna' lie, I actually thought it would be around 200,000 PS3's and 50,000 Vita's with the way Sony kept quiet.
Wii U looks brighter, but less color. Limited RGB range in effect.
They just killed interest in the game...
Immediate fail.
???? NO Yakuza game has ever scored that high... *faints*
Wow... Wii Mini...

WHAT??? First framerate is worse, now DRAW DISTANCE TOO??? O_O
After almost 2 years, I've only achieved 70% trophies and 72% completion. SO MUCH to still do in GT5.
WHY is there an app at all if that's the case?
SPU Run Time System (SPURS) is a method of synchronizing the SPE's together efficiently as threads rather than the streaming co-dependent cores that they are.

SPURS?
So they just chose to turn the SPU's into threads?
Uh, stating that you can make Metro on iPad doesn't really help the case at hand, IMO...
Perhaps Wii games just show 1080p external, just like PC Dark Souls before mods or certain PS3 games like the Uncharted games where unchecking 720p shows the games playable in 1080p external while locking internal res to 720p. (In contrast, God of War III DOES upscale to 1080p and looks great, IMO)
*crosses fingers for western release*
Taking rumors into account...

If no one buys new hardware early, than early-term hardware problems won't be solved, thus becoming long-term problems instead.
