The game was officially announced prior to E3 2005...which was 4 years ago.
This is a Windows Vista (likely 7 as well) PC game...neither of which were even around in 2005.
The 360 dev kits weren't available to 3rd party devs 5 years ago, accept for games that targeted the 6-month launch window...which Alan Wake obviously couldn't have been.

I have my PC for such things...I don't need redundancy in my GAMING console. I don't watch movies on my 360 either...I only use Marketplace for GAMES related things. Again, BOTH are hooked up to the SAME PC...so there's no advantage to having it on my 360.

Um, NO IT DIDN'T. I've been watching older T.V. shows online for a few years now, via YouTube, watchtvonline.com, Hulu, veoh.com, channelsurfing.net.....and a bunch more. And I didn't need a PS3 or my 360 to do so...because I have my 52" Plasma hooked up to my PC, just like my cable. And, btw...what better way to watch T.V., than ON T.V. ? LOL...such a pointless thing to be puffing your chest up ove...
The device was driven MS software, therefore it WAS the platform....I never said they manufactured the device.
When the gaming industry speaks of "platforms", they're talking about what drives the engines, graphics, and media....NOT the physical software.
I'll take RF1 over this crap ANY DAY. So I can destroy an entire building with a f*cking sledge hammer (Who am I, f*cking Thor??)....but I can't do SHlT to the natural environment (rock)? That was the best part of the original GeoMod tech....no other game had done that, and no other game SINCE has done it. This new engine does NOTHING new, and the game itself feels like one big joke.

Yes, UE3 is scalable, to allow for sharper graphics on PC...but NOT "10x better". Take away the DX10 effects, and some PC-centric shader and AA tricks....and it's the SAME GAME.
Madden the problem. In fact, considering how little effort goes into each installment vs. the sales...it's probably their most profitable franchise.
