I'd actually say the exact opposite of what this guy says.
I'd recommend the PS4 to the average joe who doesn't play a ton of games because he'll enjoy stuff like call of duty and assassins creed or some other yearly game because he hasn't seen any of it before so he won't be disappointed by the sameness.
I'd tell the core gamer who has already played past iterations of these games to hold off and wait for more big exclusive first ...

Warframe is pretty fun although frame rate sucks at times. The loot and economy and weapon crafting are pretty addictive.
Resogun is pretty badass with a good amount of challenge/replay value but it is a short game with only 5 levels.
Lot of little games for trophy whores. (pretty ridiculous having to do the trophies for flow and flower on 3 separate devices)
