@Krayzie Bone - Well yes, no-one should be posting for the sake of agrees (or even disagrees), but 360 gamers are NOT getting screwed, and hence your post is wrong both about the console and it's gamers (and to be honest, I'm sorry but I don't believe your motives has anything to do with what's good for 360 gamers).

I also take gaming seriously (hence I have both 360 and PS3 and still enjoy PC gaming), but I never forget that gaming is about having fun, and ...

@cliffbo - If you really think Move gamers will 'slaughter anybody with a controller' online then I think you're in for a big surprise when DS3 gamers 'whip your a$$'. :D

Move's advantage is for aiming at objects/people when they're already on the screen (with a slight lag, but no problem), however for navigating the environment itself, the controller seems to have the advantage. So overall I believe the two control methods will balance out.

@Computersaysno - Except MS are not splitting their user base any more than Sony are with Move.

Too many gamers here sound like Daily Mail readers in the UK, who always get themselves worked up and angry over nothing, often because they assume their assumptions are facts.

Which core game do you know of has abandoned the use of the 360 controller in favour of Kinect? Which core game developers have stopped making core games for the 360 and are now focussin...

I think you're reading too much into that analyst's estimate of Move and Kinect sales.

7.6m Kinects would mean a user base of over 7m (about one Kinect per XBox). Move however is different, because many gamers will be buying multiple Move controllers, and hence 7.3m Moves will not mean a user base of over 7m, but more likely 5m or less (more than one Move controller per PS3)! Do you have Move? Did you buy only one controller? If so, are you likely to buy a another M...

I have to say I completely disagree with that report. Kinect has only just been launched, and so I feel it's rather presumptuous of them to declare "Oh well, that's it then, that's all we'll ever get from Kinect!"

Yes Microsoft has gone after the casual market dominated by the Wii, and that strategy makes sense because that's where a lot of the money is today, and Kinect's sales has proven that strategy to be the right one (kids LOVE it!). ...

@barom

(Out of bubbles, so only posting part of my reply)

To your first point, that's still user-generated content, whether you accept it as such or not
:-).
How that data is used is up to the user/developer, and hence we'll have to wait and see what the future brings (Btw, none of those 3 videos I posted are possible with PS Move for numerous reasons).

@Godmars290

That was a simple but effective demo. There was nothing in that demo that required processing power or memory beyond that available to the Xbox 360.

Yes, GT5 supports head tracking, but from what I've read I was disappointed to find out that it only tracks head position (like the demo here and others posted), it doesn't track your face direction.

Hence I was hoping for

@barom

Yes we've seen that kind of head tracking for years, implemented in a variety of ways from all kinds of cameras. We can come back to that later, since I'm interested in a claim you've made...

You claim that 'all these user created Kinect stuff' has been done before on Move, so can you point out where the following has been done before on Move, and explain how it was done;
