Nintendo have only enforced a in-house policy. Pranger broke it and paid the price. As a professional, he should have been more aware of what his responsibilities are and dissing his own company is a definite 'no'. His statement after he was fired was poignant but Nintendo are not in the wrong on this one. Harsh maybe, but not wrong.

If I bought the game, it is mine to do with as I please as long as I am not infringing any copyright or broadcasting laws. This gen the PS4 is trouncing the Xbox One so now numbers are not important. The fact that even last gen the PS3 was released a year late but still caught up and surpassed the 360 is not important because you say that Sony was heavily discounting.
