This to me means that they aren’t making much money with the Xbox consoles and don’t want to say consoles are bigger business than PC and give credit to Sony for it , the future of Xbox consoles lights are dimming rapidly if you consider the “exclusive is antiquated “ comment and now this.
IF this is true then Microsoft is just trying to force Sony to do the same at a later time claiming everyone is doing multiplayer for free and so should them.
Remember Microsoft was the one to open that door and now that they have failed in the consoles sale market they will try to take Sony with them as well.
At the end of this road it all comeback to the 360/ps3 era of one free one pay for online play and if it goes for free online play I’m all up for it but Microsoft ha...
Well Sony gambled with gas and lost regardless of what anyone say we all spoke with our wallets and their linchpin game failed badly forcing them to cancel those and several other games that was in the pipeline. Personally I don’t see it as time wasted just a costly lesson they learned.
Sony had amazing fun games( Warhawk and Starhawk) that could easily be converted to gas and would be successful but they killed them trying to go for the halo killer
