I love the WiiU but the controller does look kind of kiddy... as for the console. it's pretty sexy... it just need to be in black
Specs+ other things= better games
Specs matter because they allow for more complex games and more advanced gameplay methods. I'm a huge Nintendo fan but specs do matter somewhat. Wii had some great games. However PART of the reason was because its didn't have enough power. So the specs are important for even better games, IMO

I would love this... But Nintendo doesn't like announcing specs. it'd be a great way to shut up naysayers. Also they need to show more third party games and more "next-gen" games... that are first party or third party exclusive
Also they should show some games coming in the 3-4 months before E3, that are technically post launch.

LOL... Kid friendly games are usually accessible for everyone, Mario Galaxy is not, it's kinda hard. SM3DLAND was easy in the first 8 levels but the specials are HARD. I can understand how NSMB might sell well TO kids but Mario isn't really FOR kids. Its for Mario fans. At least... 40-50% of Mario fans are people who played when they were kids

Hey bud. WiiU does have an HD camera. It's been used in promo and discussed. WiiU and Vita and 3DS both have 1 gyro and one accelerometer. WiiU also has a built in mic for voice chat. Also WiiU has no humanely noticeable lag. It renders to the tablet over a hundred ms before the TV displays the image. Vita and WiiU are awesome but I'm wondering why we are comparing a next gen console and it's packaged fully supported controller to a (awesome) current gen console and a handheld it ...
Actually they aren't. WiiU supports DX11/Open GL. They are using a 6000/7000. Probably 6. Check in the Nintendo website. It even says AMD Radeon HD now instead of ATI Mobility. The chip they are using... An E6760 is in many ways like an evolved R770. The should go with a 6770 or an 7000 though.

That's wrong actually Even on NextBox and PS4...AC3 wouldn't look much better because it's a port of a game designed for 360... Once developer start actually for next gen hardware... we'll see WiiU's power... judging off early ports isn't really a great way to judge power...
