Black Ops will be in stores 9th November. I highly doubt there is time for a MP beta, and if there is I really don't see any other point than just for getting more attention before release. They will not have time to make that many changes, at least not big changes before they will need to send the game to Activision.
Well, is anyone really surprised by that? At Quakecon they said they hadn't decided on an engine yet either.
I think they should be very happy they got EA who is willing to support their new team. I only can imagine how much work there is to building a whole new team from the ground up.
Not a half bad review imo. I've not played the game myself yet, only tired the demo. The single player is not really my style but I liked the multiplayer. Don't think I'll pick it up tho, still having a great time playing BC2 >_>
Animations, graphics and effects looks amazing in my eyes. I'm a huge fan of the anime and this looks very fun.
I got one worry. Sure they want the fighting in the game to be easy, but I can't stand combos like this "XXXXXTriangle" etc. You get the point. Hopefully they mix it up a little bit and make the combo system a bit more interesting compared to the prequel.
Other than that, thumbs up for this game.
I can't think of any other at the moment at least.
Wow that is accurate. I never played table tennis on the Wii so I don't know how the Move compares to that, but this looks incredible. Doesn't have much delay either.
Personally I can't wait to get hands on with Move and a FPS.
Crysis 2 MP may not bring anything totally new, but this looks pretty darn good on my behalf. The graphics are really nice I and love the detailed weapons, animations and gun sounds. I think they have taken some ideas from the CoD formula, but in the end this seems to be a very entertaining MP. I would love to participate in a beta >_>
I mean, rating, do we really need ratings? Sure ratings may be important for someone but in the end, you know if you like a game nor not.
Every time I see ratings from a new game today they are usually used by consumer to brag about their console. I am by no means saying a high ratings are BS or anything, but I feel they aren't here anymore to actually tell you that this game is good.
IMO, we would be better off without ratings. Not sure what the conseq...
Hehe. Looks like PC players are getting what they wanted in MW2. It's important that developers listen to their consumers imo and Treyarch is doing a great job so far.
You forgot track creation >_>
For some reason I think this game will really surprise me when I get my hands on it.
I know the single player looks pretty darn good, but first and foremost, when I buy a fps I really look out for the multiplayer. I bought BC2 for their multiplayer when their campaign was average and I got 140 hrs so far and still going strong.
EA is pushing this to be a directly competitor to Black Ops. So for my own sake, I feel nothing wrong with judging this game mainly looking at the MP.
idd. People can throw as much hate they want towards both Sony and Microsoft, but in the end they both are doing great things and the competition couldn't be stronger. Both consoles got a big audience and it seems they are fully supportive of their consoles.
Well said.
Bold statement. I have NO idea how Move will work with fps at this point and I have also no idea this will be compared to a Dualshock 3 controller. By that I mean, can you get as good with Move as with a Dualshock 3 controller on multiplayer?
I'm definitely buying Move tho. Sure the Wii got somewhat the same technology but I got a PS3, therefor Move >_>
Yea I kinda agree. Black Ops isn't looking too bad, but I don't share the same excitement for it compared to other games out there. I LOVED the first MW, but the 2nd got waaay to unbalanced (mainly because of perks) on my part. And when I saw the RC car killstreak I got very mixed feelings.
There seems to be extremely many changes to Killzone 3 multiplayer, and I'm backing up many of them. Like many of you said, hope this will be somewhat balanced.
I'm very excited about the beta and seeing the gameplay footage, and hopefully try to get my hands on it.
I really want to skip this buying this game, but I'm afraid it ain't gonna happen. I know for sure that all my friends are getting this so I only loose my leaving myself out.
Got so many mixed feeling judging from MW2. The prequel to MW2 was GREAT but I doubt they are going back to their roots.
I'm curious to hear their decision about what engine they are gonna use.
