Just cancelled my pre order of Medal of Honor. Even tho I like aspects of the game and the similarity of Bad Company 2 which is one of the best shooters out there imo, I just don't feel there is any lasting appeal to Medal of Honor MP.
Reviews should not be a matter of opinion imo.
They should follow a solid protocol which will determine in steps if a game is good in terms of technical, graphical, story elements. This structure should be used for every review sites. They should all meet and make such a protocol to follow.
Ehm, how much do you guys need to see from this game? There has been one beta who was multiplatform and there is a ongoing PC beta right now. There are tons of gameplay footage on youtube.
There is really no more need to play the game or see gameplay of the game to make a purchase decision.
Let's be honest. The statement is pretty true.
A single player game gives, like 8-15 hours of gameplay most of the time. RPG's generally a few more hours I guess. Some may play the single player all over again, but there is only a very very small percentage who does that.

EA needs to defend whatever decision they make. Either if it's a bad one or a good one. In my eyes this is a bad decision, but they still need to stick up for the change they made.

I like the CoD franchise. They do a lot of good stuff and no one should ever complain about that. If you do it makes you a hypocrite.

Try to actually get you head inside the development of a game and figure out where they get all their art, references, concept and inspiration and you will shortly figure out what directing they take their games in. This is game is not MW2 and it does not reflect a bit of a MW2 game. Sure it's the Modern War era, but that's it.
This is just another proof that Microsoft got too much money.
Killzone 2, Bad Company 2, both MoH and Black Ops will have them. I think M.A.G also got dedicated servers.
Although I love the customization and the currency system in Black Ops I gotta ask myself tho, when and if you prestige, will you loose all you customizations etc.?

People play them so there is really not a problem. Majority of the fps'es I play got dedicated servers so I don't see this as a problem either.

Yea I agree. There is really not a point changing the tittle of Taliban now except being able to sell this game in places where it was originally banned.

I won't listen to much on reviews for this title. I'm getting this no matter what.
One thing irritates me tho. Why do reviews think they can demand things that clearly the developer didn't want or implement in the game? Like exploring, maybe they didn't care for it to be much for an open world and wanted the linearity of the game? So really it's not a bad thing but a good thing. Look at GoW3. The linearity gave it a much more action concentrated game.
Wonder how many iterations how Modern Warfare Infinity Ward would have to do before they would be able to create a new IP.
