i do, imagine download the whole blue-dragon or MSG4 of internet, for those in dialup on lower than 1mbps connection people, it will take day for them. They would rather pick it up of the store. Also, with downloadable content, you can't rent or borrow games since they have pretty strong DRM. I'm sure nobody want that.
I agree with lone_swordman.. First of all, they are still quite large numbers of users using dial-up. Second, none of XBOX 360 and PS3 are equipped with TB hard disk. With 120GB hard disk, I can only download and install 5 24gb games which is slow as hell before my hard disk is full. Blu-ray is here to stay for a while.
it's good to see a HD-DVD supporter here, you're pretty rare but should at least enuff to keep HD-DVD alive until next year
if what he said is true, why blu-ray disc sales are 3:1 to HD-DVD. since HD-DVD has more standalone sales anyway. ??
60GB and 80GB doesnt much difference in price also. Plus 80gb PS3 is cheaper since it doesn't have the EE in it. So yeah I can totally see it $499

I absolutely agree with your theory. Note that 80GB bundle in price wise cost almost the same with $499 60gb now. At the time,60gb sold out Sony will simply take away the bundle and voila $499 again. Then PAL will get pricecut as well.
Both are correct actually, They might stop production for 60GB NTSC PS3 from now on. Since they have 1-2 million US PS3 in the pipeline, they are enough supply for the holiday season. there will be worldwide price cut. PAL should not get a price cut now, who for god sake reduce price just 4 month outta launch? those people will be piss.

Guys, it is in stock again, better hurry to get the 6 blu-ray deal and 1 remote deal. Because that's like $150 in saving for $499.99, even if you wait until the end of the year, i dont think you can find one for $350.00.
