I mean its pretty much guaranteed to be a streamer hit and therefore will definitely sell lots of copies. It will be long lasting due to streamers and stuff.
I also was a part of the alpha and it is for sure awesome. I love how the game is almost EXACTLY as advertised. There has been no obtuse or ambiguous language and Rare has just been great at communicating with their fans on whats going on pretty consistently. They should be looked upon as role models for their treatment of this game and their fans.

Definitely! Voting with your wallet against microtransactions and things of that nature may be futile, but in this situation it totally works.
It always seems that the "mainstream" media wants to, and consistently tries to paint games in a negative light. I wonder why they do this.
I'd argue otherwise. The early days of VR only offered "mini-game" type of games. Most of the early titles were below the official $60 USD mark and offered 2-4 hours of unique game play. Now we have full fledged games available to play entirely in VR.

There is that weird VR chatroom game that kinda gives us a look into how communication in an MMO may work. Seems very troll-ish, but then again, communicating online is always troll-ish.
I think the slow pacing is a plus for VR. Taking the time to smell the flowers in VR is such an amazing experience!
I personally gotta wait for the price drop. Otherwise VR is really shaping up to be it's own thing instead of a gimmicky add-on. Resident Evil 7, Batman Arkham VR, and now even Skyrim. The vibes are good!
It's ridiculous. People need to roll in the scope of their trailers. It really doesn't take a lot to build hype, especially when it comes to STAR WARS goddammit.

Super pumped for the Last Jedi. I hadn't seen anything except for the first trailer but when i went to see Thor they played the latest trailer and I was.....I was weak. I think they spoiled something BIG for me.....
I feel you. I was SO pumped for Battlefront 2. EA's messaging after the reveal was so good. All about how they have a story mode and free DLC. Then as soon as the first hints of microtransactions came up my hype balloon was deflated sooooo fast. So disappointing.

I've never been a fan of many Bethesda games but this is very intriguing. I can't imagine how much more immersive it must be to be totally in that world.

Seeing love for this and Spider-man is making me super HYPED!!!! The best part is feeling confident that we can trust these devs and publishers to make the right choices when it comes to modern ways of monetizing games. Whether they be microtransactions or not, I trust them to make the right calls.
I really resonate with the last point in this article. You don't have to agree with everything and not everything has to agree with you. Every single person that has ever lived has had a unique perspective and outlook on everything in life. That's OK. I feel that the people who are inclined so as to leave toxic comments, messages, or tweets are the same that feel attacked by an imaginary hidden agenda. Not everything has to have a deeper meaning. Not everything is a statement.
