I love the beta so far, except for the friendly fire. Most people in FPS's tend to shoot at anything that moves, including teammates :( Also the occasional random grenade from your fellow commardes is always great too to die by.
But overall the game is great. The ground textures and the lighting are the two things that really stick out in the game to me.
BTW I got my code in an e-mail from Sony. The only way I can think of why I may have been chosen for the bet...

My only complaint about the KZ2 beta is the friendly fire. I'm sick of n00bs throwing random grenades and killing me!!! Look before you throw ya jerks!!! lol.
But other than the friendly fire the game is awesome. My favorite thing about the game is the weight of the bullets in the game. When you fire your gun and hit somebody you and they definitely know it.

Finally, because while I was watching the ending I was thinking to my self:

I still think MGS3 is better.IMO. The boss battles were better and the game relied more on stealth.
In MGS4 I pretty much blew threw it with my super customized M4. There just wasn't enough of a penalty in MGS4 for being seen. IMO.
One feature they should add is the abilty to paint objects with any color. Just like in MS Paint.

I was playing it today and I just now noticed something. The music from the save screen in ICO is exactly the same to the background music in PixelJunk Monsters.

Anyway I do agree with you on the end being very epic.
It took me an hour and a half to beat him the first time, but that was the most fun and intense hour and half of gamming I have every experienced.

Question 1: No you can't customize each button, but there are many different conrol layouts. I'm using the one most like COD4.
Question 2: Yes you can set the zoom to stay without holding it. You tap it once to zoom in and again to zoom out.
