if you buy a router you still have to buy an adapter for the 360 to go wireless. so your paying $60 + $90-$120(depends who makes it and where you live) to make your 360 wireless. routers just route the signal they dont do ne thing else.
old xbox adapter works great. and pretty much any usb wireless reciever might just work. and now most companies are developing gaming wireless adapters. just give it some time. plus wired is the way to go. direct connect means faster and better performance. wireless now a days is good though. wouldnt recomend it. wired is better by far.
