you would think that after gold n silver 16 badges would be the standard. also with three generations of consoles since the birth of pokemon, we would have a full fledged pokemon rpg/adventure game, and no i dont mean that gamecube game about shadow pokemon.

i bought component cables for 13 at gamestop back in 06 for the ps2 but got an hdmi from frys for six bucks. thats why i laugh when i see hdmi cable for over 100
i think after the first game, this is the way the franchise should have headed, with a deeper darker and grittier tone. but no, it went the fantasy route with bright colors and annoying grunts. good twist with the flood though, until they abused them in 2 and 3. i REALLY disliked 2 and 3 and found it to be a boring flavor of the week just cuz a bunch of kids were drooling over everything halo, i think xbox live gave this game more than it deserved on its own. still, i will give it one more ch...

kof is def my fave fighting series, fighting games in general are just too damn hard to want to play for hours on end. its not worth 60 bucks but a game like this will easily end up in the bargain bin by november.

solid snake is pretty much too awesome. on par with kratos, wanderer, nathan drake, link, and sora.
the cars look great. my only gripe though is that i hope they work on the backgrounds. sometimes in forza 2 you could tell they cheated a little bit. there would be neon signs or billboards scattered around the tracks in the city and instead of dynamic shadows they would just paint the wall of a building dark blue to make it look like a shadow
