yea but think of how it was split, it was like getting a slice of two kinds of cake. one disc was a career simulation mode. and the other was arcade.i agree with most of what you said but theres really no excuse this gen, remember that baseball game that youd have to download all the extra teams and stadiums and jerseys that didnt fit on the disc? hell even ps2 didnt have this when they had to switch from the "blue" dvds to the "silver" dvds
im glad its been getting so many aqmazing reviews. best ps3 game to date best mgs game to date and once i finish it it might just be the best game ive played.........to date. now while we have THIS, all the pathetic sites posting bash-mgs-articles can go ahead and hate, ill be playing one of the most stellar games ever and they can go ahead and keep on hating, they arent fooling anyone

yup, i like this better than the 60 gig. this one takes the crown cuz the 60 gig was once 600 but the mgs 80 gig comes with a bigger hard drive a dualshock and mgs4, i also find that it runs a little quieter and way cooler than my brothers launch 60.
i dont remember any hype, and im glad, it felt great to pop this in without any news or knowledge of what kind of adventure was about to unfold. love this game, def. in my top five games ever
the core features, online play, community communication, trophies, home, etc. will be free forever. simple as that

in act 3, the bike chase, i was sooooo stoked. they mixed a movie scene and an action sequence so seemlessly, i thought it was incredible 10/10 i just cannot say enough praise for this game, i really cant say ANYTHING bad about it. buy this game

but i completely agree with the last part, they couldve sold soo much more if they stocked more, my gamestop only had four and i was so lucky to grab the last one at midnight, i guess they really were limited edition, and only 70,000? mere peanuts, i wonder whatll replace the 80 gig, ive recently heard rumors of a 120 gig. if they plan on keeping it 500$ for the higher end one until at least the holidays, they should include a dualshock, Uncharted...

im playing on normal and utilizting a lot of the gunplay.
but on my second playthrough ill go big boss hard and do everything stealth, ill see if i can get through without killing anyone, but itll be hard since ive gotta fight the frogs.

i was wondering something. i first got into gaming playing the NES with my older brother when i was like 5, and back then we had sh!t games like the adams family, top gun, goonies 2, contra, toki, and ninja turtles just to name a few. all somwhat good or much more crappy than i ever really knew (cuz i was a kid) but nintendo got me gaming, it bred an entire generation of 90s kids to play video games. so while most (including myself) people on this site really dislike the Wii, i wouldnt change...
i wonder how many younger people voted for this. it got all the right classics, just the wrong order.
there are a lot more RPG fans on the PS3, the japanese look down on the xbox and they love RPGs, YOU PUT THE RPGS ON THE SYSTEM WITH THE FANBASE. think of how much more theyd sell, at the very least make it multiplat, i struggle to find a reason this is exclusive.....
