I play both of these fighters and in my honest opinion I like Tekken better. Probably because I started on PS2 and Tekken was the best fighting game last gen and SF might as well of not existed (except for SFAN Near the end).
Although I think the 2D versions will be better just because you can't compare the "realistic" fighting of Tekken to the "superpower"fighting of SF

Omegafanboy strikes again! not realizing that Move is more precisde then Wii and it's waggle free since it accuruatley detects every movement. You can overshoot something but it has pinpoint accuracy.

Although it appears certain gamers haven't if they think these games are up to par with anything releases today. I don't think I could play a game pre PS1/N64 era

Tekken 6 was a great fighting game with good online at the time (it was better then SF4) and although people complain abut the juggles it's only because they don't bother to learn the game. It's not as easy to get good as SF, it requires a lot of time. I would know I've been playing Tekken 6 in arcades for over 2 years
