They'll still be around, plus i have faith that 343 will do good with Halo.
They're doing whats best for them and thats multi platform.
Just read about the game you speak of. It's called Marathon, not exactly based in the halo universe but they're both si fi shooters i guess.

Shoo i know i have my plan ready for next gen, Whichever console comes first is the one im buying.
Ps3 came a year after the xbox and i can say i am not waiting a year when a next gen console is already here.
Of course they both have run their course.
Sure ps3 may have a little extra juice left but not much to make a big differnce in comparisons.
They have both reached their peak and it's time to move to next gen.

Because They can. If you buy a game used your just causing furture strain on their Online Servers. Sure the person that sold the game is not online anymore and someone is taking their place but all his stats are still stored on the server and it puts it's strain.
It cost money to keep a server running. We're lucky enough not to pay for those servers monthly.
Well, games nowadays cost way more money to make than they did last gen because they need a bigger staff. But also greed is involved.

Well, they still have not given us full details on the pass so maybe we will see something like this.
BfBc2 Vip Code was differnt though, it was for Map packs which i doubt they'll do ever again.

The best online pass i seen so far was Homefronts. They let you keep playing but you can't level up any furture than level 5 and you will eventually pay for the pass if you enjoyed it.
Well i don't know about you but on the Ps3 we can share our stuff on up to 5 ps3 at the same time so i have no problem getting stuff like online passes on all my consoles.
It's not really bad for them to charge us for online passes when you're not really helping them by buying a used copy.
Plus that means you can get some really good deals on games since they go for cheaper if they have online passes so it's not all bad.

I use my ps3 web browser daily to check my email because it starts up faster than my laptop. besides that i don't really use it to much.
Though i'm really looking forward to Battlefield 3, i may just pick this one up for it's Spec ops and Story :)
I just hope this game has some sort of demo. Black ops had a demo like 4 months after the game was released. LAME! I would have not bought the game if i known how terrible it was.
Mostly just upgraded my Cpu and Ram Increases i've only upgraded my gpu once.
I multitask alot so i needed this extra push Because some games Hog cpu and ram.
Besides more people play on consoles anyways. Steam is usually just 2million online at a time.

I barley touch the game anymore for my Ps3 because of it's graphics. Sure it looked good back then but now.. the games look way better.
I started gaming hard on Pc gaming mostly because you can play online. But the thing is that's no longer the case with consoles.
Sure pc is good, i see alot of good deals on steam to so that makes it good. But... you have to keep upgrading your system to play the most high end games.
