haha we're the same age, I'm a junior in college myself though I wasn't aware of Versus when it was first announced. I got my PS3 in 07 and learned about FF 13 and Versus 13 like a year ago.

I'm totally with you. When I buy electronic devices I do my research to find the most value to me and reliability. I'm not gonna buy something just because my friends have it or its the popular choice at the moment.

If you're surprised by this then you're pretty naive. M$ only cares about making money. If they can make more profit by ditching their hardcore audience and going after the casuals then they'll do it in a heartbeat without looking back.
@turok idk about that, Ninja Storm was pretty good. I'm looking forward to ninja storm 2. I'm pretty sure its not coming to the wii. As for the variety you speak of, can you make a list of wii games that match the quality of Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, inFamous, LittleBigPlanet, MAG, God of War 3, etc.
You guys are missing the point. Its not the fact that the game can be played on the 360. Its the the fact that its not the ONLY console it can be played on now. Thats one less reason to own a 360.
I bought it at launch and thoroughly enjoyed it. Its great to see this type of game have success among the slew of rehashed sequels that flood the market. Xbots still hating but thats what they do best, somebodys gotta do it.

This is why I prefer Sony consoles compared to Nintendo or M$. Sony goes outside the box and they aren't afraid to take risks. Their games may not all sell like gangbusters but you can't deny their quality.
Everyone who tries to justify this amazes me. You people are really willing to $40 to $60 a year just so you can play Halo and Gears and COD? I find that sad...pathetic really.
