If the world is persistent i'm sold. But i'm not sure. Basebuilding indicates it is, but i've heard people say there will be lobbies so that doesn't add up.

Yeah I hope this wasn't a case where greed hindered technological progression. There's so many stories of companies picking one technology over the other because certain people that were in control could make more money choosing the inferior option :(

It's mainstream media in general. Which is why I was surprised to see so much nudity in Netflix's Altered Carbon. I really hadn't expect that, but it's a good turn of events and it fits the scenes.

I get the feeling in some echelons this game has become somewhat of a status symbol, I see no other explaination for this.
Just using religious symbolism or entities isn't the same as disrespecting it. The creators might like the myths behind it , or because they look cool. For example Final Fantasy and Persona both use a lot of religious entities and they look cool even as enemies.
So yeah it's definately possible and already done, and it's without disrespect. I'd say it's a neutral stance oblivious to the true nature of what they are using. And that is a good thing.
And that is exactly what the creators wanted. It's distasteful, but so are many things.

Well in the end it will all be net neutral again anyway. People don't put up with it, it's that simple, and the hacktivists can make the lives of governments against free internet really miserable. And it is never going away. That's what has always happened in the past when a law didn't serve the majority, there's no reason to assume it will be any different now.

On topic, I think they have probably learned some new tricks by now. For starters it will probably be a very powerful console, much more powerful than the leap from ps3 to ps4. Because they needed the PS4 pro midgen, they don't want to have to do that again. Because it's very likely they would make more profit just having a stable powerful origin...
As a ps4 gamer I agree. They definately should /infiltration.
Those screenshots look so much better than the actual gameplay footage. Not that I care though, It's all about the smooth and silky 60 fps gameplay.
