Just goes to show that even a site fueled by "member" jokes has its place. Although I'm not sure how entertaining that is.
I agree completely.
What I don't understand is this: Gamespot is a business and however they choose to run said business is their...well, business. I may not agree with it, but do yourselves a favor and go back and read a lot of Jeff's reviews. His K&L review isn't the first time his elitist attitude has reared its ugly head.
I'm just saying.
Why does it need to "go away" as you so eloquently stated? Is it bothering you in some fashion? Is it taking away from your precious logging hours of fragging and "cooler much more hip" games?
Is it just me, or is the entire gaming community turning into a bunch of rabid fanboy idiots who, because of the internet, seem to think that whatever it is they say has been crafted in a Hemmingway-esque vernacular? God, please will the lot of you just quit your whini...
Do you understand what third party means?
You know what strikes me as funny is how upset everyone seems to get. Maybe it's just me, but I read this as a hypothetical article, but as soon as the Sony fans read anything that could be spun as a negative, they start to regurgitate factoid #362 or talk about this blah blah blah. If you are so confident in your system of choice, then you would think that what others may write to the contrary wouldn't affect you so vehemently, but alas it always does. You all may want to take your blinder...
I'm not surprised a Sony based publication gave it such a high score. I'm sure I will still give it a run-through, but it's difficult to trust a review score from a media outlet so obviously specific in nature.
I have to agree with Squall on this one. Before you rabid fankids start chanting your chants telling me I'm a hater, I'm not funny, blah blah blah, let me stop by saying I own a PS3 and from where I'm standing the games worth the price of me shelling out the money are few and far between.
I'm still holding out for the system to turn the corner, but if it's going the way of becoming a $600 movie player then I must say Sony has definitely screwed me and everyone else who lined up...
Now this is a comment I'm talking about. No name calling, hate mongering or anything of a non-productive nature.
Well done.
It's too bad so many others haven't the capacity to do the same. I can't believe the stupidity of gamers. How can a medium that is rooted in so much technology and intelligence breed so many idiots is beyond me.

Just a quick point. The page you see with the staff members is slightly outdated. We have quite a few people writing for us currently. Some freelance, some full time staff members. Although you may have missed the point of the feature, I must take complete offense to being compared to 1up. Ewww, Last time I checked we didn't have a hentai club or blogs where people could talk about how someone cut t...
Ok, where in this article did it say that this was a factual account of the series and or game in question? Has anyone heard the term op-ed piece? That's what this is. If you look at the site more closely, Deeko is very opinionated, but entertaining. While some may not agree with the post itself, the most positive thing it does is provide discussion on the game and gaming in general, which is what the site is striving for.
Debate all you like, but slinging insults and pointless...
Well, he called that one right. Apparently people aren't allowed to say anything against the fanboys flagship. He was stating an opinion and every single comment here had absolutely no redeeming value whatsoever. Just immediately insult someone's opinion without any recourse are what fanboys are known for. Personally I think he wasn't hard enough in his opinions. Way to think outside the box. It's a wonder new games that may stray from the norm of what so-called "gamers" think is wo...
Really? Wow, that's impressive. You managed to make so little sense with so many words there Green.
