Agreed. Performance, presentation, footprint, noise, game services etc are all excellent. It’s like ms really tried this time and it shows. The quality is very high all around.

That’s what building a refresh right gets you. It’s not the time in development that makes the one X superior hardware. All the tech in the one X was available for Sony too - in fact they were in development at the same time.

Lol no it’s not. Pay to win started on mobile. It’s when a game is free (usually) but the progression is so brutally slow it’s near impossible to move ahead or in worst cases, impossible to move ahead. It’s literally a revenue model. you pay to speed things up and make progress or pay for the ability to advance... Like FarmVille or Asphalt 1-6 for example. Or items that you need to win that aren’t immediately available. Loot boxes are “pay to be lazy” if anything as you can achieve everything...
No let’s see it compared in 4k captures since that’s what they are about.
Ac origins not only runs at higher average resolution, it has higher res textures too on x over the pro. It’s noticeably sharper and seems to have more draw distance too (in addition to thing mentioned on this list). F7 on the X is absolutely gorgeous. It really does look substantially better than on the S and even better than GTS on the Pro (which I also own).
Gears 4 looks like it’s running on a pc to me with the X. Just played it last night to check it out. It looks craz...

No it wasn’t. I walked into a store almost two weeks after the pro launched and bought it. At Best Buy. There were at least 4 other units sitting there. And I live in Los Angeles with 18 million other people. In fact I’ve never seen not in stock at that store or the 3 other ones in my area... or at the target store by there. Always has been in stock. The switch WAS hard to find.
Ummm. Works perfectly fine. The only weird thing is you have to download the bluray app beforehand.

It’s already being sold at a loss - even more of a testament to its value for capability. The hardware inside is literally too good for its price. That’s what people need to realize. And the differences against base hardware aren’t margainal. Not like on the PS4 pro. Just look at battlefront II for example. The one x runs it at basically pc level graphics.
If anything it just looks more art directed with color and glows. No real downgrades that I can see. Looks awesome.
Agreed. I’m loving my One X. My switch collects dust more often than not and as of now after playing on my one x, it’s clear my PS4 pro will ONLY be used for the occasional PS4 exclusive. Literally the only reason I’m keeping it.
The one X just runs everything else waaay better. Too much so to even consider buying on the pro from here on unless it’s only available on ps4... which at least for me isn’t very often. This year i played a whopping 2 PS4 exclusives out of the 12...
No it shouldn’t. That’s idiotic. They have tons of stuff in the works for xb1 and they’d have to lose all that money and start a whole new rotation from scratch. The xb1 (and pro) should have just been more powerful from launch.

Ha literally just ordered these for my X. Didn’t see this review til after. The reviewer mentions Dolby “Atmos 7.1” support in the review but for clarification, Dolby Atmos and 7.1 surround are two different things. NBD, just for accuracy.
