Indeed kz2 was the peak still my fav fps in past 10yrs about then it became ruined from the filthy casuals :/

The grinding required to beat those guys kept me playing the game until I finally got all the material needed to sweep them

Rainbowsix while lacking content is one of the most fun games I have played in awhile due to the tactical thinking and actual skill needed to be good at the game. (Though hit detection does need some work)
While I agree with you I still have to blame cod because battlefield and killzone used to be both a lot more hardcore until call of duty flooded the market then like you said money and the casual

Agree 100% a generation of gamers have been ruined due to call of duty where they needed everything handed and catered towards them.
I can understand not being good at a game in terms of gun skill and strats. But the lack of common sense on games is astounding.
The amount of times I have seen people just run straight into an objective without checking anything and even though they see partners die right in front of them they still run straight in.

Kz2 was one of the highest rated and selling fps other than call of duty last gen.
And if you played kz2 you would know easily, to date the in game clan system still haven't been matched by any game on consoles as well with all the custom settings in private rooms and pubs.
Not one single fps game out there has a clan system where you can set up bracket style tournaments where you wager points on matches and play for prize pools on top of just sent challe...
Doesn't surprise me, playstation has always had socom as their hardcore shooter and Xbox had rainbow six.

Well as a true FF7 fan I've longed for this moment a long time and I would happily pay 120+ for the game if it met all standards but for that to happen I would want the game fully complete and in my hands. This episode or breakdown shiz is not what fans want and is making me lose my faith in square Enix once again when they showed a promising return to glory.
As a long time ff7 fan I would rather pay 120$ for a full ff7 experience we have been waiting for than get it in parts or episodes
Honestly man there's enough 3rd party games coming this year to keep me busy without the need of first party AAA titles from ethier camp.
Battlefront, Batman, and fallout 4 will be plenty to hold me over especially fallout considering that will soak up major playtime itself.
On terms of Microsoft sales this holiday halo should def push units out, and will help increase sales but how much is yet to be seen.

Square confirmed on their twitter it's ps4 and pc only. Plus why would the remake appear on xbox when the remaster is ps4 and pc only? Also scea must have publishing rights that date back to ff7 initial release.
The visuals are def stunning but best visuals belong easily to uncharted 4. The amount of detail and things going on at once is incredible... With horizon coming second and I would say battlefront 3rd
You simply don't understand the bombshell magnitude of those announced games. It's not about ohh they aren't coming this year it's about them existing.
A lot of old school gamers have been waiting for these games and they are finally coming so yes we are excited.
There are plenty of 3rd party games to hold me over this year without the need for 1st party which also can be said for Xbox. Fallout 4, batman, mgs5 alone will take up masses of time...
Agree scar they did used to own rights but those rights have long been up enough for a FF7 port like it just made its way to ps4.
If it was going Xbox I'm sure it would have by now especially considering it's also on pc and IOS.
