This is one of the benefits of paying for Xbox live..your money keeps the servers up and running. That is why a lot of old 360 games still have their servers running, like Call of duty 3 that I recently played, is still running its servers. Now that the ps4 is gonna require ps+ I'm sure some of that money is going to keep servers up and running for all the games.

Well when I game on my 360..it automatically signs in to my account with Xbox live, so my 360 is online and stays that way until I turn it off. So pretty much I'm always online anyways..but I get the impression from some of these comments that some people like to play offline..but does it really matter if you are online or not? A single player experience is the same experience whether you are online or not. I understand some people don't have internet service so I understand that side...
Do people really manually disconnect their console just to play offline or single player?
