My only gripe with this new PS3 Slim and its new price point is the fact that something has to be missing from the original PS3 for it to be at that new price point. It's very hard for me to believe that it has the same exact specs and gadgets of the first one with a different price point. I don't think the body work of the old PS3 and two extra usb ports in the front could be worth 100 dollars.

That's a very valid point. Over the span of the xbox 360 being out it has had alot of exclusives and a good portion of which were good. The ps3 has finally come out with alot of exclusives after about two years because of believe the first game of any interest for the ps3 that came out came out this year, MGS4. You'd be fool to think that HALO: ODST will not sell. That's fanboyism at the max. Halo 3 is still among the top games still played online. This is because the game is pretty damn good. Halo has stood the test of time. And ODST would be no exception. Come this fall you'll see HALOMANIA erupt again. Promise that!!! I would even bet money on that one.

You gotta think though that most people who play on there pc are more apt to playing a rpg like world of warcraft or a real time strategy game like AOE. These days its not even acceptable to play fps on a pc or almost any other genres accept the ones above. Really.....
Halo ODST - People will buy this game if they purchased Halo 3 which was juggernaut. Willing to bet money on that one.

Honestly, most people who own a ps2 really want a Nintendo Wii. Being the ps2 is really cheap and is very friendly to casual and kid gamers. Parents are more apt to picking up the ps2. Therefore,parents and casual gamers will be more apt to picking up a Wii.

What Microsoft should to do address the installation of games to the hard drive is to make games that come with codes or encoded games. Just like the have their xbox live subscriptions. This way the game will made specific to your xbox console so you can play without the game inside the xbox.
i played both of these games and i prefer Gears of war 2 more because its fun. Its really fun to play with a friend co-op or online. When your playing co-op online in resistance, people could careless about a damn story and dramatic cut scenes. They just play for fun and that's what gears of war brings.
I dont see what the big problem is. This game was remarkably done. The online was the not the best, but the story was fantastic and better than the first. People didn't dog MGS4 for having a mediocre multilayer. It was praised for its story.

I loved the first skate game. this should be a really good game. however, they need to incorporate a feature in which you can walk without always being on a skateboard.
obviously the guy cannot read the simply instructions that were written on the front of the drive: "DO NOT MOVE CONSOLE WHILE DISK IS IN DRIVE!!!!!" That simple!
