I bought VR missions just because we could play as Gray Fox. So i´ve been waiting for a game like rising ever since mgs1. Guess it wil be worth the wait.
This is stupid. How can they do this kind of list and not include one such as Capcom. Doesn´t matter their latest awful stunts, they have been around since the beginning of the videogames industry. They currently suck, but this is a list of all time, and capcom has done so much more than most of those studios combined.
That´s not Platinum´s take... that Raiden design is from the first version of Rising, before platinum. But i get what your sayin. For me it´s the Gray Fox skin that i want.
And i guess this is where Vergil DLC begins. This leaked video is pretty much the final nail in the DmC coffin.

What the hell are you saying? DMC 1 had no lock on?
Even if it didn´t have, it was the first game of it´s genre and we wouln´t know if it needed a lock on feature or not. But it so happens that the 1st DMC had a lock on. The 2nd DMC gave us the ability to switch between targets ( among other moves ). The 3rd gave us styles ( along with more moves ), the 4th gave us style on the fly. So you see, the gameplay of Devil may cry just kept getting...

The guys behind Platinum are like the artists of the gaming industry, because they create precious gems that are usualy ignored by the general public ( Okami is a great game but didn´t sell all that much, the same goes to Godhand). They have also shaped this industry with some of the best games ( solidifying the survivor horror genre with the Resident evil franchise ), created a new genre ( with the OG Devil May Cry), and always give us the best gameplay ( look at Viewtful Joe, Bayonetta...

I still find it funny when you keep saying that this game is generic. You surely played lots of games with cibernetic ninjas, mechs and an amazing cutting mechanic. Even the name of this game´s not generic. Generic is the new DMC, although is not a bad hack n slash, it just don´t meet the Devil May Cry standard. Gray Fox is the original Cyborg Ninja badass. His first appeareance in mgs1 is one of the most memorable cutscene is MGS history. This skin is for fans like me that were wishing for a game like this ever since that first encounter.
These are dark times we´re living in the gaming world, with all these DLC BS. But square enix has taken that shit to a new low. And the worst thing is, people still bought an incomplete game. Old school FF gamers don´t like FFXIII (in general), and new gamers that FFXIII is trying to please got screwed with FFXIII-2. I really don´t know who would want this game to come out
If those 2 appear in the game, everybody is going nuts... But as far as i know, there´s a confirmed skin for gray fox.
Is it me or there´s a reflection of Snake (mgs1) and Gray Fox on the blade? Also, i liked the US box-art better. I´m hoping that the european is equally cool.
I hope it still comes on the ps3, because i feel that current gen still has a lot of potencial. I´m not that thrilled with the prospect of next gen consoles, because better graphics doesn´t mean better gameplay, instead it suffers from it. This current gen has been a little disapointing compared to the previous one ( Not enough good games ). Next year, with titles such as the last of us, watch dogs and MG ground zeroes, maybe this gen could come close to what previous one had to off...
Totally diferent game from original dmc. What were you smoking while playing GodHand? But i get what you mean, cool stylish game, great combos, hard, and a character with cheesy lines like Dante.
Here´s a diferent review that brings up the problems that other reviews fail to mention. If anybody played the demo, they would know what to expect. The high scores doesn´t come as a suprise, and almost all of the reviews clearly states that this game is made for newcomers.
