If i understand your question correctly. there are no "cylcles". if you press share at 7:45 you'll cut the vid segment from 7:30-7:45. alternatively if you pressed it at 7:57 you'll capture footage from 7:42-7:57. It is always recording every second until so every sec is being overwritten by the following second. To answer this question i have to say PS4 without a doubt. I have 2plus years of plus left, franchises i love and care about with dynamic and interesting characters I've grown with and love.
