GameStop is known for this. I for one take ALL manuals and codes out of the games before I put them on the floor, but that's just one of thousands of employees. Also if I can recall correctly EA gives you a 7 day online trial and then you can enter/redeem a code after it's over. This is good for trophy/achievement hunters because some of EA's sports games are easy online ones. I did it with Madden and Tiger Woods.

Probably from games 8-10 years ago. I literally just read the Splatterhouse manual and there was only one page I was interested in, the button layout. The rest was about the story, credits and a page at the back that literally had a live help number to call if you were stuck. Oh and half the book was in French lol. Games nowadays, like some users said already, have tutorials that are mandatory to go through. Don't get me wrong, I'll miss the manual because to me it completes the entir...
