I did too! I haven't been able to rent to so I figured I would get it when its $20. I just didn't expect to be so soon. Also, 3D Dot Game Heroes is on sale too and believe me its worth it.
Whats the point of showing pictures at 5325x2008? Its not like we get to play the game at that resolution. It does look very good though, I'm excited.
I actually love the new Laura. She looks like a real person now, not just a set of impossible curves in some male fantasy. This is the same reason why I loved Nathan Drake. He felt like a person and not an action star. Now granted they still do amazing feats of physical excursion but they are much more grounded in reality overall.

He used to do Geico commercials a few years ago and was on a short live show called Sons & Daughters. Pretty good show but it died quickly. I've actually been a fan of his for a while and I'm glad he is finally getting his due. His IMDB is huge.

I have a GeForce 8600 GT and I'm looking to upgrade soon. I was looking for something more powerful but hopefully will work with my current power supply which I believe is 500 watts. However, I'm not opposed to getting something with more wattage. Just low on funds this year :(

I received the game when I was 8 and got all the way to Tyson several times but could not beat him. When I was 10 I got to him again but could not beat him. Yes! Arcade sticks are the best way to experience fighting games. I bought a Hori stick and one of those Madcatz SFIV sticks to mod. I just wonder if there is an adapter so I could use those sticks on the PS3 and 360...maybe the Wii too. Then I could play Tatsunoko vs Capcom in style :)
Yeah, its called a blister, and the thick skin is called a callus. You get these when you play guitar too. Its a good thing.
I'm sick of hearing about how SMB2 is somehow not legitimate. If you look up the game, you see that Miyamoto produced it and Kōji Kondō did the sound. Here is a Wikipedia quote -

To me, games are unique in that their sequels are often better than the original. I think there are many reasons for this: the developers learn from their mistakes, they can make gameplay improvements, they can drop elements that didn't work, etc. Not all sequels are better than the original but I think the chances of that happening are better in games.
Its not great compared to the other consoles, but its not bad on an HD tv. Just use 480p on the Wii and turn on 120hz on the TV (if you have it) and they will look pretty good, depending on the game.
I have a deformed right and I have trouble with the wiimote + nunchuck control scheme. I can shred on a standard controller but not with that combo. I had a lot of trouble with Metroid Prime 3 which was very depressing for me, because I have been a Metroid fan since '88. I just wish every Wii game had a Classic Controller option and every other game had the ability to remap the buttons like a PC game. That feature should be required under law as far as I'm concerned.
That game is so brutal it won't even let you back up your save game file to USB! When I had to get my PS3 serviced, I backed up everything but Demon's Souls. It would not let me! When I got my PS3 back it was a different unit so I had nothing from before. So I lost over 50+ hours. I haven't gone back to it yet. That game is almost too metal...
I'm 15+ hours into it and I have not missed towns and NPCs at all.
I saw it was the same space as before. I opened my list of cloud saves then backed out and selected information on the cloud save icon and then it showed it as 1 gig :) Awesome!
