Don't even bother. Play the Story of Seasons games on 3DS if you wanted a real harvest moon game. They're amazing.
Xbox One X will be the best place to play this masterpiece.

I didn't see rain effects in Beta. In fact I didn't play all of the beta to know everything, but saw the rain effects on youtube on a training course my bad for not writing this specifically. That said they were PS2 level effects. The video must have been the retail game, since it was posted on YT on launch day, but damn were they horrible.
GT lost its most popular component, a feature rich SP career mode. The sports and training courses are features that existed on PS3. Also you bring in Forza 7 while complaining about my reckless unprofessional commenting. A game I dont own and decided to pass all together because of backlogs, and AC Origins coming. Forza Horizon series is way better to me than Motorsports. Classic GT games on PS2 were better to me than any Forza Motorsport game.

Dude I've played the beta on a 4.2TFLOP GPU for f- sake. The cars look nice and so does the lighting but everything else looks last gen upscaled to higher res. Cardboard crowds, very low poly rocks, PS2 level rai...

Sony will eventually shut down servers for this game. There won't be much to do in this game when that happens.Give it a few years.

6.5 is actually what this game deserves.
It's selling worse than most other GT games, so that is something you should think about. Also if sales = quality then FFXIII is top quality.

In fact in Japan Story of Seasons belong to the same IP as the good Harvest Moon games, known as Bokujō Monogatari, i think translates to Farm Story in English. Harvest Moon was just Natsume's brand of localized versions of that series but they didn't make the games. It is now they're making their own games, all of which are terrible.
