why is everyone freaking out about this, if it does happen(witch i seriously doubt) u havnt been screwed the 360 with built in hd dvd will no doubt be more expensive that the stand alone. further more i dont know about u guys but i bought my 360 as a next gen gaming machine not an overhyped dvd player, if we want to go into the hd dvd market then we have the option of doing so through an add-on not forced on us from day one. think about it

my 360 plays normall dvd on my 48'inch dlp tv just fine till they stop making normall dvd witch wont happen ill stick with that instead of shelling out 400 beans so my picture looks more shiny
