I think this is good tbh. Also, they've stresser that the game is much more vertical thank horizontal in scale.
They probably needed this beefy PC to make it run smooth enough. Game is far from being optimized. Specs requirements will be lower

Every game ever shown at E3 is running on computers with ridicilous specs to provide a smooth experience when shown.
Cyberpunk is still a ways off to be released. Optimization will shrink the required specs by a lot.
One thing thats clear by now is that this game will be cross-gen.
People here clearly haven't read much about the game I see. The game is tailored around the FPP. 3rd person would result in them having to make major changes to the game.
Hell, even the UI is made with FPP in mind. When you change eyesokets and get new implants the UI will change.

You should watch a few previews. Everyone is mind-blown, and a few has said that the gameplay is very fast-paced.
It's funny. People want devs to have complete freedom to make the game they want to make. But as soon as someone, in this instance CDPR, has a vision for the game that differs from others expectations, they almost want to force them to implement features that may alter the game altogether.
CDPR wants to make an FPS this time around, and if you dont like it then simply not buy it.
