It's better if you are a content creator by far. In some games RTX 2080 beats R7 by 5-10 frames yes, but certain games like BF5 has a advantage of 10-20 frames.
So it depends on what you're after really. I would say R7 is best value if you are both a content creator and gamer while RTX is a bit better for gaming.

I did the same as you too. Was completly burned out of open world games two years back and started to only play SP games. Now a few years later I can finally enjoy open world games again.
I agree with you. The game have not in the slightest felt like a grind to me. I must admit, I've only played about 8 hours of the main story. After that, I have focused on hunting down the cult members. 74 hours in I have only four more left.
The sidequests are amazing, world feels alive, activities are engaging.. can't wait to continue main story, but I want to experience all side content before I do so. Amazing game.
I hope it delivers... I love Stig Asmussen (Game Director), and I do believe whatever he makes will be gold but.. its hard when its EA.
Unless its truly epic, groundbreaking and exceptional, I will buy it even though its an EA game. Just PLEASE, no forced MTs and all that bullshit EA. We've had enough already!

Couldnt agree more. Streaming games will always no matter how good internet have worse latency and compressed image.
Streaming will never become the only way to play games. I believe we will see both streaming and digital/physical co-exist.

I believe we will see huge leaps in AI, world simulation and physics next gen due to the massive performance boost the new CPUs will give us. And also, graphics will be pretty nice aswell. Can't wait!

@Mikeslemonade Strongly disagree. RE7 brought back so many things that the series had lost over the last few games. It has a mansion, complex puzzles, tense atmosphere, high level of fear and its super immersive.

I just think that its weird that you rank RE5 and 6 higher than RE7, which yes, they did have zombies (That's a good thing), but they lacked in atmosphere, gameplay and fear. RE7 brought back the "mansion feeling", fear, claustrophobia and that feeling of being helpless. If you played the game you would clearly see that its Resident Evil as it used to be, just with a first person ...
Looks too small for a game like Anthem. Looks like it wouldnt take more than a few minutes flying across. Maybe even less.
