Agreed, Sequels are supposed to top the previous entry's but this one feels like a downgrade. There is nothing spectacular about the environments, they seem blend and generic. The direction of going full anime with the characters seems lazy and uninspired. If you played and enjoyed the 1st one its clearly obvious this one looks inferior from what has been shown.
I think most of these type of people are youths. I used to be like this years back. As the years went buy I matured, got a job finally I could afford more than one console. Since then I've never gave a damn about defending my favorite console, and occasionally I realized how stupid I was fighting others and trying to prove our side was supreme.
Nier Automata.
Am sure if you've read the reviews and impressions you now how emotional and impactful this game is. As i played through those moments I never came close to crying(almost did). Regarding going back to Nier same here. After completeing it I was struck in the "feels (mostly sorrow) which kept me from going back, but it's alive and well in thoughts. Guess i'll hit Psn and purchase Persona 5. With all these critical acclaims I must be missing something serious :)
Those who've played Nier Automata how does Persona 5 compare?. Nier Automata is probably one the greatest Jrpgs I've played in a long time. From the looks of persona 5 I have doubts it could deliver in story telling, music, and overall execution. I love Jrpgs but Persona 5 just cant quite sell me over. People who've played both Nier A and Persona 5, well I enjoy P5?.
I found the story in LR more interesting and easier to follow than the 1st game. I thought they presented the characters objectives well. It's emphasis was more on concluding the trilogy and the story, overall i think they nailed that part. I haven't played xiii-2 so i cant comment there. As stated above to each their own. I've just done that, Xbcx's environments are better detailed and vast. The character models seem better constructed as well in X, Here we have colorful anime models detached from everything else in the game. Seriously there's more. I just came from watching the direct and the game obviously seems downgraded from X. My two cents.
