I've actually just written up the second one and will have it linked to this article in less than an hour...I had no idea this would be even half as popular, so I actually had not written the second half at this time.

It is the most popular game on the list, I will agree with you there.

There's only room for 8 games, so not everything can fit...If I got enough suggestions, I may extend the list. Part 2 is still largely unwritten too. But I'd need some suggestions and comments on you guys' picks and why they should get some attention (i.e. why you like them)

Haha, yes it is. I'm surprised anyone knew.

Despite my now constant attention to the gaming industry, I've learned for the most part not to even look at reviews or hype or trailers or screenshots or what have you. And I don't believe that I have ever been disappointed by a game that I expected to do more, or if I have, it is rare.

I also really do think it's because I don't usually play big titles. Innovative, weird, quirky games can kill this "disease", but poor sales stifles them.

We must live in different worlds then because I never hear anyone NOT complain about EA and how money hungry they are. And yes, they are a publisher. But still, I never hear too many complaints in the games industry about "OMG I HATE SQUARE ENIX/ACTIVISION SO MUCH" unless we're counting whiny fanboys.

Interesting and well done.

This does seem a lot like troll bait...I don't really hear about Square Enix or Activision being "hated".

Now EA is a different matter.

Not approving this =/

Unfortunately, people who do that are the exception, not the rule. It's hard to be like "I like this game, so here's $50 although I already own it" if there is no hassle involved with owning a pirated copy of it.

I'm not going to condone the behavior, but honestly it is expensive to be a gamer. This is not an excuse, it is just true. Also, chances are, if you become a fan of the movie, game, tv show, music, whatever, you will eventually plunk down a lot of cash for sequels, merchandise, concerts, whatever.

Game demos are still a great way to figure out if you want a game, but they have been difficult to access until lately. With things like Walmart's partnership with cloud ga...

Them disbanding will have nothing to do with the consequences of their actions. Likely they hope to fade in obscurity, but it is unlikely that law enforcement will give up just because they say they're gone. If they can't even handle finding a bunch of hackers, then we've got bigger problems.

Because they were obviously feeling the pressure and wanted to get out of the game on their own terms. Whose to say that hackers aren't doing what they did everyday anyway? Most are just smart enough not to go public with it. Again as I said earlier, you must celebrate the small victories because this is a war we cannot win, but only coexist with.

I guarantee you that most of the people who followed them on Twitter were press, and half of the rest likely had no real clue and wouldn't dare to stick up for Lulzsec without the anonymity of the Internet.

You cannnot always look toward the war's conclusion, for hackers will always be there whether we know it or not. But we can rejoice in the victory of the battle.

We all know Lulzsec disbanding isn't the end of this sort of thing, even if it is for a short time.

But if you live your life expecting or wondering when the next bad thing is going to happen and being afraid of it, you can never enjoy it.

I got nothing against aliens. Just Sheeva and many armed (or legged) things have always scared me.

I do wish however, that they would have revealed Samus' to be less attractive and more average...It seems to me they wanted men to think she was attractive. Zero Suit Samus is basically wearing a skin tight suit that highlights all her curves, so I can't help but think they intended her to be sexy.

Yeah, out of context it just looks like the artist is trying to show what the symbolism of GlaDOS' means. However, if the author found it in a collection of sexual pictures, or in a fanfic or something...It really depends on context.

Sheeva disgusts me and is something I would have nightmares about. It just shows you how sick humans-particularly men-can be. Nice article, it was refreshing and gives me some inspiration to do something along those lines.

Yes, I completely agree. I had never expected to be interested in Tomb Raider again, but after reading that interview and seeing the footage, I am intrigued to say the least. I hope they pull it off.

That's a little creepy, but yes I agree that I like how young she looks. She's been turned from a sexy 30 something to a more naive early 20s it seems.
