It is IMPOSSIBLE for Sony to count consoles SOLD to PEOPLE.
There is currently no system in place that would allow Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft to count consoles sold to customers. Even using NPD and ChartTrack will not ensure accuracy as not all retailers give them sales information.

Motorstorm has the worst loading times of any game this generation. Even the review build of Lost Oddessy had better loading times.
You might complain about mandatory installs but Motorstorm proves it is necessary, to counter the slow read speed of Blu-ray.
Load times on the 360 were a couple of seconds.

The point you are missing is that all the games with a mandatory install, are not that much bigger than the install itself.
Devil May Cry 4 on PS3 is only 7.4GB and has a mandatory install of 5GB.
If the likes of FF13 with hours of HD cutscenes come in at 25GB or more. How big will a mandatory install be then?
This must be groundhog day for PS3 owners.
Lost Planet on 360 is 5.9GB and has superior graphics, multiplayer etc...
It will not last.
Microsoft will dominate the GDC with new exclusives.

The 360 will dominate software sales in 2008.
Multiplatform games are always best on 360. As well as many unannounced exclusives.
Also Killzone 2 should not be on that list. As Guerrilla Games have been around for 8 years and after 7 games released in that time, not one has been any good. In fact, given their track record Guerrilla Games are one of the worst developers in the world.
It seems unlikely it will be 8th time lucky for them.
