Sure Heavy Rain is looking S*** hot, but no console will ever surpase the PC graphically simply due to the updating hardware. Consoles generally enjoy a brief moment ahead of PC gaming at release but are soon shot down when the same game hits the PC.
Examples like Oblivion and Lost Planet on PC spring to mind. Even though I will by Heavy Rain on PS3 I would love to see a PC version to see what they can get out of it.
Still waiting for someone that has knows Another World ('Out of this world') in the US
At the very least someone must know Fear Effect???
Good luck pal, i ran a small shop in England, I know how hard it can be when you can't shift something. The New price drop and model should make it easier, the second hand market for the Ps3 should also improve with it now being very affordable at a second hand price.
DMC I find alot easier than the NG series. All the bosses have obvious animations to avoid attacks and Trickster is the way to go in DMC3 for SS ranks. The harder bosses in the NG series dont have any obvious animations for when they are about to throw you about the place doing massive damage (to the giant enemy crab). Sure I can now whoop NG around the room just as easily as DMC, but the first time through was a pain in the....
Vergil in DMC3? Easy boss if you have leveled up correctly, which you should have done by every fight you have with him. Sepiroth in Kingdom hearts is amazingly difficult unless you know how to beat him cheaply (check out the vids on youtube) but is a side boss and not part of the game and therefore can't appear on the list.
no Alma from ninja gaiden dumb ass!
@riceandbeans
Either you are lying (which is what i'm leaning towards) or you are quite the gamer sir!
One thing can be said for sure, Microsoft don't quite seem honest with their figures, look at the RROD rate they claim. Most of us don't trust that yet alone any other statistic they produce and not a third party.
The difficulty of the games makes them worth playing, nice to have some options out there for the high skill gamers.
All that matters to me is that I have had to replace my 360 7 times. 3 core, 3 premiums and 1 Elite (the so called RROD free console). If you bring that down to a personal level thats a 88.5% faliure rate for me, not acceptable. Once I could handle, maybe they had unforseen problems no worries as long as they fix it, like Sony and the orginal Slim line PS2, but that is obviously not the case.
Tell me if you can honestly say no one you personally know hasnt had the RROD once! The ...
Pilotwings is bad ass, well played Sir. Perhaps lucy in the sky with diamonds is a future tale about his woes with this game! :)
Sweetness, hopefully it wont be the team grind fest that is FF11
EA, cash in experts. The Iphone has already established itself in this market, anyone entering in for gaming now has already lost. Bit like the motion controls for 360+ps3, they will never topple the Wii
Isnt this also the date for the second Uncharted 2 beta? Sony servers will be busy, and unfortunetely that is never a good thing. Love my Ps3, tired of sitting waiting to connect to a game.
Send in your entry then.
A game cover has nothing to do with a players injury, NFL is full contact sport and at times you can't help it about what happens on the field, it could happen to anyone, many players are injured each year, being on the cover or not
I think Dragon Age could be good with a little more work, at the moment it looks like a fantasy sub par Mass Effect. Sure there are a couple of cool things but much like Shadow Complex, nearly being a previously good game with a twist isnt like being the previously good game.
YAY, hack and slash, rinse, repeat. How are these games still going? and why do i feel the need to play one every 3 years?????
I think it depends on the game, Multiplayer simply doesnt suit some games, where a single player experince in something like TF2 would be equally as bad an idea.
i think this one will be something different, sounds like they are trying to merge what you would expect from a traditional RPG with the MMO style. Definately worth a look
Just incase you hadnt gathered, the guy claiming to be on of 26 players to beat it on hardest is full of BS, just FYI.
Other than that I have to admit a lot of people found the final section before the end of the game on Killzone 2 hard, I got stuck there too but wouldnt have put it on the list.
Hopefully see some peeps around online when NG2:Sigma hits Ps3 for some online co-op. That could raise whole new levels of frustration should your partner do something stupid...
