I have really been meaning to play this game, let's just hope GameFly actually sends it out sometime. Friends have said great things about it.
I have to say from what I have seen of the Frostbite 2.0 Engine even on the PS3 footage we saw Jimmy Fallon play, it looked better than anything I have seen Call of Duty do with their engine which has been around since Call of Duty 2.
I just wish my current PC could run this game, it can't even dream of playing this game.
Very nice move Valve, you once again prove why you are so great when you do things like this. Now if we can get more devs behind this endeavor.
Of course, it has to be, if it isn't announced or teased, people will riot.
My child hood is slowing being crushed thanks to the internet. I am not surprised something like this exists, I just wish I never knew about it.
He was standing in front of the Alienware booth a lot, so I think he was some sort of mascot for Alienware, but not 100% sure.
Who doesn't like Cosplay? There are some amazing ones in this gallery.
Best photographer ever. Such a fun time at PAX, hope to see it again next year. I can't believe that last year's PAX East was in a smaller convention center.
Good idea for them to move this one to a bigger and more open one.
The power of Kinect is infinite it seems, using Kinect with Gmod is a match made in heaven!
About time we get proper PC button re-mapping on a console games. This game just got a big thumbs up from me.
Man, all I hope is we get a game-play trailer for this game soon. I want to see zombies being massacred on this paradise island.
Although glad this game will be at PAX East!
But no one can handle the drug Charlie Sheen! Only people with Dragon blood.
Man what is in the water at GDC this year. First Jaffe talking about how devs need to stop day one patches.
Now Cliff talking about pre-orders. I agree 100%. We need to find a new way to reward and merit sales of games. We don't run into a shortage of games anymore. Hell the last time I ever remember a "shortage" of games was Halo 2, even then I could find them in more then one store.
While load times are getting a bit longer it seems, games like Grand Theft Auto IV are a thing of beauty. I remember dreading the bridge crossing in previous games. I hated those load zones.
Now with the ability to install HDD, they are getting better, but with things like Blu-ray which have low read speed for the time being at least, I don't really mind it.
I understand that, I get that they have a release date, but if they need to get more people in to play test it, or find bugs, then I say do it.
I am happy that they have the ability to patch day one, but the trend is just getting out of hand. It seems that every game has a day one patch, and it's getting old.
But I would rather have a working game, then a bug ridden mess on day one.
I would love for this to become true, but the way games are made these days, seems as though developers see this as a leisure. They think, well why spend time on making it more polished, if we can just release a day one patch.
I want games to work right when I buy them, not put them in and immediately prompted to download an update.
I agree, but be thankful that it isn't fall 2011. There is already too many games this fall, I couldn't take this one landing in fall too.
We need more press releases like this. Makes them more entertaining to read, instead of just a wall of text about an upcoming game.
Where is FreddieW when you need him. Just kidding, this is one amazing "fan made" film.
As they should. The first Torchlight was a fun game, and Torchlight 2 just got a whole lot more interesting in my book.
