If i were to tell you that any game you buy will work on your old system (ps2, xbox) at the cost of graphics, and the day you upgrade you don't need to buy the same game again. Wouldn't that make you happy?
Well that's how i look at pc gaming. Yes i know that when new games come out I wont be playing in the highest gfx but sooner or later I will. Just like sooner or later a new console will come out. But I don't have to worry about dro...
Not only that, but there's plenty of stores to get cheaper games. Digital or retail. Most of the times you get 2x, 3x, even 10x the content compare to the console counterpart bcuz of mods, sometimes free dlc, dedi tools.

There's probably lots of people who liked Conviction, I am just not one of them. The gameplay I enjoyed and love was shattered with the release of conviction.
It is more "bad ass" but I still prefer a stealth game that is stealthy. Not a run and gun with automatic aiming and unlimited pistol bullets.

One problem thou, how are they gonna monetize their own product over the surplus of content? On my psp I spent way more time on homebrew than any umd/iso.
Most guys don't know this but the reason Capmcom don't like releasing SF games on pc is that in the arcade world. Some company would put a cheap computer in the box and sell it at a price way lower compare to actually getting a legit box from capcom.

You know RAM alone doesn't speed up loading? The only reason i know of on pc is that you can configure the game to preload common texture onto ram. Loading faster is truly done by HDD and Disk drive speed as you said. TBH I didn't say that I wanted more ram to load faster. What i DO want is more texture so we can see better animation, bigger world. etc etc etc. But what do i know? I ain't a developer/engineer.
