Probably one of the best shooters ever made is the Borderlands series and it is totally artistic in it's graphics. Realism is a dead avenue that eats up the power of a console that could otherwise be put into more creative gameplay and originality.
Basically Tomb Raider got rid of it's puzzle solving identity, and became Uncharted with Laura Croft. It looks great but it's not Tomb Raider.
Personally I prefer a game to be fun, to many developers these days are is a "race to realism", and are losing the whole point about gaming, FUN. We are seeing to many generic games, and for me this year Tomb Raider traded in its personality to become a better looking generic shooter.

The thing is Sony buyers, will have to invest in the PS Move all over again, when Xbox users will already have the state of the art experience. I would rather pay more and have everything than pay less and end up paying more in the long run.
I am currently playing through LEGO batman 2 for the first time and it's a blast!
LEGO games are so much fun and this one is going to be their best yet I think.

I wanted it to be good to, as Zombie fans have to many games. It was just badly implemented from start to finish with extremely poor gameplay. It was another case of the game being to big for the developer.
Lately I have been dragged into terrible game after terrible game, it's like the developers are just throwing stuff out the door and preparing for the next gen. I can't wait now for Saint Row IV ans Splinter Cell Blacklist as have played both and they are stand up games.
I know the feeling never get time to play a game long enough before the next one
