i look forward to the day most all games have some multiplayer function,we had years upon years of single player games, that needs to change, gamers need to have the option to play their favorite games online with other peeps. a.i. can only go so far and after awhile it gets boring that way, either it's too easy or too hard with a.i.,maybe one day a.i. will be smart enough to play games with but promise after promise and it's still the same way years later. nothing can replace real live ...

"another day, another dollar" <--- rest of us
maybe some unintended hackers not related to PSN incident will get snagged as well :-p
haha, who are these losers in the media, whom propell doom and gloom when one incident happens. pc's been dealing with hacks for ages, have they died,no. 360 got hacked,is it dead,no. Wii got hacked, dead? no. iphones hacked, dead,no. see something similar here..well,means one time or another something gets hacked and life goes on.
a lot of peeps would like it too but i say it won't. Battlefield is not yet a household name among all console users,i know casual phone gaming peeps who know of the Call Of Duty brand but wouldn't even recognize the BF series even though it's well known among hardcore pc users. it just has not reached the casual masses in name yet let alone all the console users. it's still very much a niche franchise. not say EA couldn't make a big effort to change that scenario but from...
what's so tough, they can just price cut. they won't need to copy anything, likely PS4 / 720 will be off the chart graphic wise and Sony has that upcoming NGP to counter the controller, big whoop. for Nintendo i'm glad their aim seems more hardcore this time around, won't have to pass up on buying their system like i did the Wii [i just played it at relatives houses anyways] if it as good as the info is saying.
so it begins...
i agree, system still has a lot of life in it,lot of game franchise can be dropped onto it.
what kind of article was that lol. anyways Sony will announce a PS4 [or whatever they call it = NGC haha] before PS3 finishes it's 10 year cycle like they did last gen, because Sony keeps supporting / selling their products more than other game system manufactures do usually. there's no way they'll wait until 2014 / 2015 to announce their next one to arrive the following year or two. not going to happen.
impressive visuals but gameplay looks like updated BFBC2 action. wasn't impressed with a.i. but what do i care,i only play multiplayer in shooters anyway.
for real,i waited this long to same footage i already saw? only difference was more f-word bombs throughout.
it sort of depends on the hardware itself,if it generates hype enough then it's all good for Nintendo,if it comes across like something too similar then maybe? already the controller making a lot of buzz even before everyone seeing it so maybe it's got just the thing to draw in gamers again,we'll see.
as much as i'm not a Wii fan, this sounds kind of exciting.
Counterstrike!!
likely why the game won't outsell a COD game i.m.o.,they continue to put feet in their mouth.
bah, graphics this and that, what's wrong with current graphics on consoles? really, what is so totally wrong? buy a PC if ya want that, consoles are fine for now, they can even last a few more years. look at games like World of Warcraft on PC,no one gripes about that game with outdated graphics, because gameplay matters > over graphics.
i think Nintendo has to change tactics this time, sure they're are known for the casual market but it can't carry them like it did with Wii this next time, they'll have to be a bit more creative this time. i believe maturity in gaming is returning (although it's hard to see it now) and Nintendo don't want to be caught not being able to keep up tech wise like they were with Wii and just higher definition won't cut it either i.m.o.
i don't think they're going to get away with that [all casual gaming] again because things are changing in gaming, gamers want more complexity and the tech in the system will be better to do more complex activites. the games will cost more too so they'll want the most from a game than ever before.
i'm guessing just slighlty more [or on par] with current systems [PS3 / 360] power like how Wii was with Xbox1 / PS2. Nintendo seem to think less is better tech wise but who knows, maybe they're thinking bigger this time?
nice,i just want to play online again though but free stuff is good :-)
