Listen, I'm an Xbox fan but these articles really need to stop.
The Xbox bashers here want a conference so they can jump on these forums and say "MS didn't show any games" or they would nit pick any presenter for anything he/they would say that wasn't to their liking.

I think the option of TV goes hand in hand with video games.
I mean, how cool would it be to not need cable and have everything right there on your console. I truly believe this is where the whole industry is going.
The news has been littered with how expensive cable is and how a lot of people are cutting the cord in favor of internet or streaming services.
I think the cable boc plug in is just the first step for MS. MS knows that in most homes there is always a cable box next to your TV. the added convenience of just plugging one into the other is simple and also being able to essentially get rid of your remote thanks to Kinect 2.
Now if you think it will just stop there then you are mistaken. Just like how we saw big improvements from the XMB launch of the 360 to now we will definitely see the same for the Xbox One. And Xbox h...

It's why Sony fanboys pushed so hard that TV was bad and not needed, that Sony had superior RAM dedicated to games, that Sony would never charge for online gaming, you pushed that Kinect was always watching, you pushed that if Kinect breaks you won't be able to play your ONE. What happens if there's no internet! Why are there no core games! MS lied about the launch!

The Xbox 360 controller was the best controller this gen. The d-pad was the only thing holding it back from true greatness.
With the Xbox One and the fix to the D-pad plus the other improvements there is no doubt that THAT controller will be the preferred controller for gamers.
