They need to sit Gears out for a good couple of years. That judgment was okay and I like what they try to add. But the lack of modes and hardly any new weapons made it seem like a cheap cash in. Making a prequel too? Bad move.
They could do another story about another team during the actual Marcus saga. Focus on another squad on the other side of the world dealing with different types of Locusts. This way they can introduce new weapons, enemies or whatever.

Don't mind Dedicatedtosony, because of his massive bubble count he has gone full troll. He has already been caught with his double standards with the whole "8 gigs dedicated to games" fiasco, where he actually had to write a blog and state he ate some crow. When the Sony failure articles were out and massive the SDF went into full defense mode and made sure to tell anybody and everybody that it was less than 1%.
